Inspired by wood type letterpress posters, this tenth anniversary commemorative piece was actually screenprinted (is that ironic?). This poster was a bit of an experiment. I haven’t done screenprinting for a long time (and only ever on apparel). Luckily my kind-hearted and talented neighbours gave me a hand (thanks Gillian and Gregory). I used bright orange and metallic silver acrylic inks on black Stonehenge paper without a white base layer and the effect was just as I had intended: a rusty-metallic feel.
